The Truth About Moms (And Why You’re More Awesome Than You Think)

Let’s just say it…
Moms are AWESOME.
You are awesome!
You do more in a day than most people do in a week.
And yet—how often do you actually stop and see that?
I mean, really see it?

We’re raising kids in a world with much to say about what moms “should” be…
PERFECT
Always Patient
Always Put-together
Always Present
Always Prepared
But here’s the thing:
There is no such thing as perfect.
And thank goodness for that. 🙏🏼❤️
Because what our kids need most isn’t perfect.
It’s you.
And YOU come with superpowers.
Seriously. Moms are in a league of their own.
🦻🏼 You have bionic hearing.
You can pick out your child’s voice in a crowd, hear a cough in the middle of the night, and somehow know when silence means trouble.
🧠 You have indestructible intuition.
You just know when something’s off. When their story doesn’t add up. When their “I’m fine” is anything but. You understand what they need—even if they don’t.
💪🏼 You have superhuman strength.
Sleep-deprived, emotionally drained, juggling All The Things—and still showing up. Every. Single. Day.
⚙️ You’re a multi-tasking machine.
Homework help, dinner on the stove, baby on the hip—yes, all at once. How do you do it? No one really knows. But you do.
📆 You have epic organizational skills.
You remember the dentist appointment, the costume for the school play, the favorite stuffed animal, and the snack no one else can ever find.
💨 You have spidey-sense reflexes.
Catch a falling cup mid-air? Done. One hand on the toddler, one on your kid’s art project, one opening the car door…
Wait—how many hands do moms have again?
👀 You are the finder of lost things.
No one knows how. But if something’s missing, you’ll find it. It’s just science.
❤️ And most importantly, you have healing powers.
Your hugs mend boo-boos and broken hearts. Your words soothe fears. Your presence is comfort.
You’re not just the “doer” of all the things.
You’re the glue. The guide. The one who shows up in ways no one else can.
So if moms are so awesome (and we are!), why do we feel so much… self-doubt?
Why do we question whether we’re doing enough… being enough?
Why do we feel like we’re always falling short?
Here’s why:
We compare ourselves.
We undervalue what we do.
We tell ourselves that anyone else could do this better.
But the truth is:
There is no one like you.
Statistically speaking? The odds of you being born are 1 in 400 trillion.
TRILLION
That’s not just rare. That’s irreplaceable!
Let that sink in.
You—are exactly the mom your kids were meant to have!
Not because you do everything right.
But because you love them deeply, fiercely, unconditionally. 💕
And no one can love your child the way you do.
So the next time you wonder if you’re doing it “right”...
The next time the dishes are piled up, the kids are melting down, and you haven’t showered in three days…
Pause.
Breathe.
And remember this:
You are the exact right person for this job…
Your love—the messy, tired, fierce, everyday kind—is the most powerful force in the world.
And it’s your love that gives your kids the strength to grow, the courage to keep trying, and the deep, unshakable knowing that they are loved, just as they are.
Because of YOU.
Keep loving your kiddos, just as you do.
That’s all they need.
And mama?
You’ve got this.
With love and respect
